A Legislative Bill called The 'Made In America Act' proposed that at least 51 percent of the purchases made by the County, with a value of more than $10,000, would be products 'Made In America'.  Sounds pretty simple right?  Wrong!

Not all agreed with the 'Made In America Act', including County Executive Marc Polencarz who moved to Veto the bill.  The Veto surprisingly held up after a number of Democrats changed their votes in favor of vetoing the bill along with fellow Democrat, Polencarz,.
