Hall of Fame southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd will be performing Tuesday night at Artpark in Lewiston. Expect to hear fan's cries for "Free Bird" from miles away.

The band has been playing for 35 years, and don't expect them to stop anytime soon, especially with the tragedies they have had to deal with. Over the years, Lynyrd Skynyrd has lost members Ronnie Van Zant, Steve Gaines, Cassie Gaines, Allen Collins, Leon Wilkeson, and Huey Thomasson to death. It's amazing they have been able to rock on through all of these blows to the band. Founding guitarist Gary Rossington was quoted as saying "We're still standing, still keeping the music going. We wanted to do the guys who aren't with us any more proud, and keep the name proud, too."

Skynyrd has released 12 studio albums since their inception in 1973, and are most known for early hits Free Bird, Tuesday's Gone, and Sweet Home Alabama, as well as their patriotic theme Red, White, and Blue. The show begins tonight at 6:30 P.M. While you can expect to hear a mix of old and new, one's thing for sure, it will be a concert you can't forget, or one that you won't remember.

Expect to hear some classic 'Skynyrd:
