Less than 24 hours ago, we reported that Johnny Depp's new blockbuster The Lone Ranger was set to break box office records.

We now have early box office reports that are not too sunny for Johnny Depp and Company.

It now looks like the film will open below expectations, but $30-$40 million is still huge.

Maybe Johnny needs to do Cry Baby 2.
