Listen to a (Fake) Orchestra Perform Rebecca Black’s ‘Friday’ [VIDEO]

With lyrics like “Tomorrow is Saturday / And Sunday comes afterwards,” you’d think it’d be impossible to make Rebecca Black’s viral single ‘Friday’ actually sound good, right? Well, think again.
Walt Ribeiro has created an electronic orchestral arrangement of the so-bad-it’s-good song, which ranks among the best ‘Friday’ covers to date.
Sure, we won’t be hearing it (or Rebecca Black, for that matter) play at Carnegie Hall anytime soon, but Ribeiro’s version is both fun and catchy, and actually makes ‘Friday’ pretty tolerable.
You can listen to his version of ‘Friday,’ plus his orchestral take on Lady Gaga’s ‘Poker Face,’ below, then check out some of our favorite instrumental covers of pop songs.
