Faster than a 2005 Mercedes SL-65. More powerful than vodka and soda with a splash of cranberry juice.  Able to leap tall re-hab centers with a single appeal. It's not Superman. It's Lindsay Lohan trying to get a job.  Radar Online is exclusively reporting that Lohan is set to audition for a role in Zack Snyder's 'Superman' reboot this week.

According to a source, Lohan "plans to return from New York on Wednesday and meet with producers and read with an actor who is up for the role of Lex Luther."

And since actress Amy Adams signed on to play Lois Lane last week, Lohan is reported to play the role of a villain. Talk about art imitating life. Lohan has an upcoming trial, in which she is being charged with grand theft for allegedly stealing a $2,500 necklace.  Lohan's trial begins at the end of the month,  'Superman' begins  filming in August.  Maybe her house arrest bracelet will be part of her super villain costume?

If hired, Lohan will be joining a star-studded cast that includes Henry Cavill as the man in blue, with Diane Lane and Kevin Costner as Superman's parents.
