David Letterman Calling It A Day…Or Night?

'Late Night with David Letterman' is still doing well in the ratings after all these years, but people in the know are saying Dave is ready to call it a career to spend time with his family.

He's done it all. He's been on the air longer than Johnny Carson and been more consistent than the competition (Jay, Conan). Plus, he runs one of the best production companies in the biz (World Wide Pants).

What people fail to realize is, it's never been about money with Dave. It's always been about power and being top of mind. He's just not the type of guy to sit at home and watch QVC.

We say Dave will sign another 3-year deal and announce, "This is it".

No disrespect to Michael.
