This is a strange show, as all of the bands have gone through line-up changes since the 80′s. But have you heard Journey’s Arnel Pineda sing? He’s Steve Perry’s vocal doppleganger and since Neal Schon has made it perfectly clear that Perry is no longer the lead singer of the band, this is as close as you’ll get to seeing Don’t Stop Believin’ (our generations Stairway to Heaven). I had a great time the last time they were here and this should be another fantastic show with the addition of Foreigner and Night Ranger. If you really miss Perry, then close your eyes. You won’t be able to tell the difference.
Disclaimer: The Band mentions going on tour with Styx, that is the European tour. Styx has been replaced by Night Ranger for the Darien Lake Show.
