Johnny Nobody is Andrew Vaeth on guitar/vocals, Colin Roberts on bass, and Jason White on drums. We are a rock 'n' roll band that plays garage/power pop/blues-infused rock.

Our musical influences go back to our days when we first starting playing together as teenagers -- bands such as Neil Young, Led Zepplin, Weezer, Nirvana, Sloan, Radiohead, the Kinks, Rolling Stones, By Divine Right, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The White Stripes, etc. are all artists that have influenced us.

Check out this sort-of holiday tune, "Gold and Green":

What are some cool places you guys played outside of Buffalo?

Johnny Nobody has toured the country a couple of times, but some of the most memorable places we have played have been SXSW in Austin in 2008, any show in Nashville, most of our shows in NYC, Chattanooga, Tenn., Chicago, and Newark, Del.

Any embarrassing or funny on-stage stories you can share?

This isn't really an on-stage story, but when we were touring regularly and were in a pinch and needed to take showers and had no place to do it, we would get in our swim trunks and scrub down at various self-serve local car washes across the Southern United States.

What artists would fans be shocked to find on your iPods?

People would be surprised to know we listen to Wu Tang Clan, and the Charlie Brown Christmas Album

What's next for Johnny Nobody? Where are you performing next?

Johnny Nobody is performing tomorrow (Friday December 12) at Nietzches in Buffalo, with Handsome Jack and Merchants.
