Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly is back home in Buffalo after surgery in New York to remove cancer from his jaw.  He underwent 12 hours of surgery on March 28th and spent more than two weeks at Mount Sinai Hospital before being released to a rehab facility.

He wrote on his Instagram account that he spent his final day in New York with his family and enjoyed the fresh air outdoors during a walk around Central Park.

Kelly's daughter Erin posted on her Instagram account a photo of her dad in a plane riding back to Buffalo.

It was back in 2013 when Kelly was first diagnosed with cancer in his jaw. His most recent surgery was the most extensive so far, requiring reconstruction of his upper jaw.
