I know how hard it is to figure out what to do on the weekend.  Trust me I know that feeling!  You spend all week using your brain for work and the tough stuff that when it comes to weekend fun you hit the snooze button on thinking.  Instead I’ll do the thinking for you!  Here are a few jacktivities I have a feeling will give your weekend that excitement it’s been missing!

The Buffalo Museum of Science has an exhibit that I find very interesting.  It’s called Grossology: The (Impolite) Science of the Human Body.  Yeah I would suggest if you’re one with a weak stomach for gross stuff I’d skip this one.  This is definitely one of my favorite exhibits at the Science Museum.  This exhibit is open Monday to Sunday from 10am to 4p.  You’ll get the chance to explore why your body produces mushy, oozy, crusty, scaly, and yes even stinky gunk at Grossology.  Spend the day learning all about the science in disguise with this exhibit.  The Science Museum uses more than 20 interactive displays that will show you EVERYTHING and when I say everything I mean the good, the bad, and of course the downright ugly about the human body and how it works.  It’s really a fascinating exhibit!  Check it out right now at the Buffalo Museum of Science.  The exhibit Grossology runs now till September 3rd.

Another great event you’ll need to check out is this Monday at the Tifft Nature Preserve in Buffalo.  Monday is their Full Strawberry Moon Stroll starting at 8pm.  Get out of the house and enjoy the sights and sounds of spring at this event.  June’s Strawberry Moon will guide them through Tifft’s trails as you’ll enjoy the sounds that alert them of summer’s wonderful approach.  Take a leisurely walk as the guides point out all the interesting plants and animals at the preserve.  Full Strawberry Moon Stroll at the Tifft Nature Preserve this Monday starting at 8pm.
