It's another weekend, and even though it looks like rain is in our forecast, that does not mean you should sit around all weekend!

Open as of yesterday at the Buffalo Museum of Science is Gunther von Hagens’ Body Worlds Vital Exhibit. I had the chance to go see the original exhibit the first time it was in Buffalo, and I have to say, it was incredible! It was absolutely amazing the new information you learned in the first exhibit. This time, the exhibit is a little smaller than the original but definitely still has so much to offer! Vital shows us how to best fight, manage and prevent life-threatening diseases such as cancer, diabetes and more through health choices and lifestyle changes.

This exhibit displays authentic human bodies. Yes, I know what you are thinking, and I have to say, I’m not one for blood and body parts, but I even thought the exhibit was amazing.

Tickets are definitely cheaper than the last time, ranging from $12 to $15 for general admission and $5 to $6 for BMS Members. You don't have to have to buy your tickets ahead of time, but with this exhibit, they have time slots for you to go in and view the exhibit, so just to make sure you are able to see it, I would plan ahead.

Body Worlds Vital runs now until September 29.

Tomorrow, make sure you join me and the Jack crew out at Mickey Rats and Captain Kidds for another Sunday Funday Patio Party!! Check out this and more Jacktivities at our events calendar!
