It’s National Peanut Butter & Jelly Day

The "average" kid eats 1,500 PB and J sandwiches before graduating high school.

Examiner.com reports that the history of Peanut Butter & Jelly. Legend has it PB&J sandwiches got their start during World War II. Part of the soldiers’ rations included peanut butter and jelly. Once they mixed the two together, the rest, as they say, is sandwich history.
