It's no secret that Buffalo gets its fair share of snow during the winter months. But is Buffalo, NY, home to the 'Snowiest College in the Country'?

AccuWeather.com compiled a list of the Ten Snowiest Colleges in the United States, ranking the schools by their average annual snowfall.

Coming in at number ten is the University of Alaska Fairbanks with approximately 62 inches of snow throughout the year. Michigan Technological University takes spot number one with a whopping almost 200 inches of snow every year with 303 inches of snow in the winter of 200-2001. But what about Buffalo?

The University at Buffalo comes in at number four of the list with around 94 inches of snow a year.  Rochester beats out SUNY at number three. the University of Rochester averages 99 inches of snow each year.
