There are Children waiting for a home.  A home where they can feel loved and cherished during a difficult time i their lives whereas they've been separated from their biological Parents.  Many people are leary of becoming Foster Parents because they confuse Foster Parenting with Adoption.  Adoption and Foster Care are very different.  Both provide the same caring and love for the child, however one is 100% permanent placement while the other is normally temporary with the expressed end result being such that the child is reunited with his / her biological family.

Foster Care is temporary and Berkshire Farm Center & Services for Youth is holding a FREE Informational Session this evening from 6-8pm at The american Legion #1451, 6525 Ward Rd., in Sanborn, NY 14132

Within the meeting tonight this is what will take place:

  • Meet with Berkshire Staff
  • Meet Other Foster parents
  • Learn How You Can Foster On Your Own Schedule, Full-Time or Part-Time
  • Discover how Berkshire supports Foster Parents
  • Food, Beverages, & Door Prizes (Childcare provided with RSVP @ 716-862-4212 Ext 10 or 716-341-3295)
