It takes a whole bunch of planning and food to keep fans at The Rose Bowl happy. Sure, the play on the field has the attention of people all over the world. However, for the 90,000 fans that are sitting in the stands, a snack or cold drink is also important!

The details were released this week about what it takes to feed that many people.

Rose Bowl day, vendors expect to sell 18-thousand hot dogs, 47-hundred nacho plates and 75-hundred big pretzels. Fans are expected to wash all this food down with 65-thousand bottles and cups of beer and 18-thousand bottles of water. There are other "specialty" foods that were not factored in. Perhaps wings or beef on weck?

The Rose Bowl kicks off from Pasadena, California on New Year's Day at 5pm. Featuring the #3 Georgia Bulldogs and the #2 Oklahoma Sooners.
