Holiday Season is here! Enjoy!
I still can’t believe the weather! I know most of you are just dying to have snow on the ground but I am not! Mother Nature if you want to hold off a little longer I’ll be your biggest fan! Since today looks so nice my suggestion is to get out and enjoy the weather!
This morning at the Beaver Meadow Audubon Center in North Java treat yourself to breakfast. The best part about this breakfast is Santa himself may just be the guy sitting next to you while you eat! Santa Clause will be making an appearance today while you enjoy breakfast. After you eat as much as you can stick around for kids crafts and nature walks. Remember when you’re there to tell everything you want for Christmas this year to Santa too! The Breakfast with Santa is being held at the Beaver Meadow Audubon Center on Welch Road in North Java from 9am to 1p.
Another great family friendly event tonight is the 23rd Annual Outdoor Tree Lighting Ceremony. The Light-A-Life Memorial Trees will be shining bright for the month of December. The event takes place on the front lawn of CTG on Delaware Ave in Buffalo starting at 5pm. The special part about this tree is the decoration. The trees will have red, silver, gold and green bows and tags of loved one’s names on them. Along with that you’ll enjoy hot chocolate, coffee, and freshly baked holiday cookies. The event is free!
Also tonight if you’re in the mood to do some caroling I have the perfect place for you! In the Village of Williamsville in front of their Village Hall is their Holiday Caroling in the Park. The party will begin in the front of the village hall. There you’ll watch as they light their beautiful Christmas tree for the season. Then you’ll all venture around to the back of the Village Hall to Island Park for a bonfire and Caroling. Since it’s not blizzarding out either it’s going to be the perfect weekend for it! All are welcome to attend this free event. Did I mention even Santa Clause will be stopping by to check out the caroling! Make sure you tell him everything you want for Christmas while he’s there too
