Happy B-Day Twitter #icantbelieveitsbeen5years [VIDEO-NSFW]

Believe it or not, Twitter turns 5 years old today. Starting out in 2006 and gaining popularity in 2007 at the SXSW Festival where it went from 20,000 tweets per day to 60,000. This is nothing compared to today where 190 million users genrate over 65 million tweets per day. While somepeople have used it as a way to receive news (over 100,000 tweets mentioning #michaeljackson went out per hour, casuing servers to crash), it is for the most part a new way o cyber-stalk your favorite celebrity. Plenty of celebs and athletes have taken to Twitter to let us know what they are thinking every waking moment, some of which has come back to bite them, and in some cases benched.
