Guns N Roses’ 2012 London Concert To Air on VH1 Classic

A “stunning” high-definition presentation of Guns N’ Roses‘ June 2012 London concert will highlight a five-hour block of GNR-centric programming airing March 9 on VH1 Classic.
The concert film was originally set to be screened last year in European movie theaters, as you can see from the trailer below, but that was reportedly postponed by band management. Guns N’ Roses’ June 1 show at the O2 arena in London was a 34-song marathon that featured the band’s former guitarist Izzy Stradlin joining in for several songs, as well as covers of AC/DC‘s ‘Whole Lotta Rosie’ and Pink Floyd‘s ‘Another Brick in the Wall Part 2.’
It is unknown how much of this concert will be featured on the March broadcast. The evening will also feature an hour of Guns N’ Roses videos and a rebroadcast of lead singer Axl Rose‘s Nov. 2011 hour-long interview on ‘That Metal Show.’
