Always say "please" and "thank you." Even if you're not talking to a person.

A woman in Britain has gone viral for a Google search in which she displayed excellent manners.

Check out the search from 86-year-old May Ashworth.

Ashworth's grandson tweeted the photo that he took when he went to her house to do his laundry. He went to use her laptop and realized it was still on when he opened it. He said she was trying to find the year a certain TV show was made.

I asked my nan why she used 'please' and 'thank you' and it seemed she thinks that there is someone - a physical person - at Google's headquarters who looks after the searches. She thought that by being polite and using her manners, the search would be quicker."

Count Google -- and a slew of other social media users -- among the many who were amused by Ashworth's attempt at being computer savvy, as well as computer friendly.
