Give Dad The Perfect Day With These Jacktivities!

Happy Father’s Day!  Spend the day showing Dad how much you appreciate him with events around WNY!

Show Dad how much he means to you at the 13^th Annual Buffalo River Fest, happening today at the Buffalo River Fest Park on Ohio Street in Buffalo.  Spend the day with Dad having fun at this event.  The day includes a waterfront photo and memorabilia display, food and refreshments, a kids area, and more.  If your dad’s a history geek, then he’ll love this one because they will even have historic tours along the Buffalo River. Finish off the weekend hanging out with Dad in the Beer Garden playing a little bingo! Dad will love this one!

Also today, if your Dad is more of the music and beer type, you probably should think about taking him to the Buffalo Blues and Brews Festival! This festival is happening over at the Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village on Tonawanda Creek Road in Amherst. Bring the family out and celebrate the roots of music and Buffalo culture at this festival. There’s live music all day from bands like The Big Sauce Trio, LeeRon Zydeco, Dive House Union, and more. Then, of course, don’t eat too big of a breakfast that day because you are certainly going to need room for the local yummy eats that they will be serving up.  Finally, have Dad sit and relax in their Beer Garden.  You will definitely score big brownie points with Dad at this event.

Finally if your Dad’s really into wine or cheese then you'll definitely want to check out the event happening at the Niagara Wine Trail today. It’s their Wine and Cheese Weekend!  Dad will love spending the day celebrating National Dairy Month!  Dad will enjoy sampling different wines at each winery on the trail paired with some amazing cheese samples.  The best part -- they even throw in a commemorative wine glass from your starting winery so you'll have something to remember the amazing weekend with Dad!
