Want to add a little pizazz to your Fourth of July party?… We already hand-picked your menu with our Jack Up Your Fourth post, now were are going to get all Red, White, and Blue on your drinks!! If you need a few ideas for your beverage table here you go… You are soo very welcome! Here’s our list, compliments of About.com!!

Starting with class and a little Martini glass, here’s some Red, White, and Blue:

For some red try out a Red Carpet Martini.
Ingredients needed:
1 1/2 oz. Vodka (of choice), 1 oz. Campari, 1 oz. Hiram Walker Pomegranate Schnapps, 1 oz.
Pomegranate juice, 1/2 oz. simple syrup, and a slice of lemon for a garnish.
How to make it:
Gather all your ingredients and measure out accordingly into a shaker. Add a little ice, and shake
well. Get your martini glass ready with the lemon garnish and strain contents into the glass!

Add in a little White with either the traditional Martini or our choice mix it up with a little Saketini.
Ingredients needed:
2 1/2 oz. Gin, 1/4 oz. Sake, and an olive for a garnish.
How to make it:
This one is quite simple since the ingredient list is so small, so measure out what you need into a mixing glass with some ice and stir well. You can also use a shaker, strain liquid into martini glass and add your olive!

Finish off your patriotic array of drinks with something blue in the Very Berry Cosmo Cocktail.
Ingredients needed:
2 oz. of Van Gogh Acai-Blueberry Vodka, 1/2 oz. Chambord, 1/2 oz. Triple Sec, 1/2 oz. Cranberry Juice, and fresh blueberries to garnish.
How to make it:
Once again grab that shaker, measure out your liquids, and pour them in. Add a little ice and shake well. Strain this beautiful concoction into your martini glass and add some of those beautiful ripe blueberry.

Now that we have the Martinis covered on to the tall boys, meaning you’ll need what’s called a high ball glass, a glass that holds up to 8 to 10 ounces!

For some red stripes try out the Americano, nothing says Happy Fourth like and Americano.
Ingredients needed for a high ball glass:
2 oz. Campri, 2 oz. Sweet Vermoth, and Club Soda, lemon twists or orange slices for garnish.
How to mix it:
Fill your high ball glass with ice. You’re going to start with the Campri, followed by the Sweet Vermoth, and finally top the glass of with your Club Soda, add the garnish and you’re done!

Add in your white stripes (no not the band, but you could!) with a nice and simple Gin and Tonic!
Ingredients needed:
2 oz. Gin, 5 oz. Tonic Water, lemon or lime for a garnish.
How to mix it:
Here’s another easy one… fill your high ball glass with ice. Pour in your measured out gin finish with the Tonic Water, stir thoroughly  and add a lemon or lime for garnish!

Those tall boys need a little blue with our personal favorite Air Force One!
Ingredients needed:
2 oz. of Hpnotiq Liqueur, 1 oz. Citrus Vodka, Juice from a lemon wedge, Lemon-Lime Soda, and if you want to get fancy a lemon spiral for a garnish!
How to mix it:
Grab your high ball glass and fill it with ice. Measure out your ingredients into your glass starting from the top. Stir well and add that beautiful lemon spiral, or for the simpler folk (such as myself) use a small lemon wedge!

Now finally for our blender barista’s… get out your blenders and ice and get ready to get some independence!

Starting with something Red, let’s get a little tropical with a Hawaiian Margarita!
Ingredients needed:
1 cup of ice, 1 1/2 oz. Tequila, 1/2 oz. Triple Sec, 2 oz. fresh or frozen Strawberries, 2 oz. fresh or canned Pineapple, a dash of sour mix, and a strawberry or pineapple slice for a garnish
How to Blend:
Blender drinks are easy you just add your measured out contents into the blender, make sure it’s plugged in, and blend away until smooth. Pour into a tall glass and enjoy!

Add in the White with a Limey Cocktail!
Ingredients needed:
1 1/2 oz. of White Rum, 1/2 oz. Lime Liqueur, 1/2 oz. Triple Sec, Juice of half a lime, 1 cup ice, and a lime to garnish!
How to Blend:
Add all the measured ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth. Using a Margarita glass pour blended contents in and garnish with a lime!

Last but certainly not least our blended Blue drink of choice would have to be a Blue Bayou!
Ingredients needed:
1 cup of ice, 1 1/2 oz. Vodka, 1 1/2 oz. Blue Curacao, 1/2 cup fresh or canned pineapple, 1 oz. Grapefruit Juice.
How to blend:
Grab that trusty blender of yours and add in all your measured ingredients! Blend until smooth and pour into a chilled margarita glass!

That’s it for our fabulous Fourth of July concoctions. For additional ideas check out About.com and kick back and enjoy your Independence Day!!
