Yes I know fall is here now and I’m sure for most of you the reality has sunk in that summer is finally over and that thing we call snow is right around the corner. Even so don’t sit at home today! Get out and check out some of these jacktivities around town.

Get lost today at a corn maze. I checked this one out last weekend and I have to say I was really impressed and really lost! The Maize in Wheatfield is located on Niagara Falls Blvd. This place is incredible with over 8 acres of twist, turns and dead end trails that all creates their design of Noah’s Ark. Plus there’s not just 1 maize for you to venture through. Once inside you’ll have the opportunity to get lost in 3 different maize’s and they even have set up a children’s maize. The bigger maize’s take about 35 – 45 minutes to get through and the children’s maize they have takes about 15 minutes. Along with that they have also set up a few bounce houses, a tractor maze, and a corn cannon (which I have to say I spent a lot of time and managed only to hit 1 of the targets!). The maize is open every day from 10am to 9pm and on Fridays and Saturdays they have their flashlight nights where they keep the maize open to 11pm so you can get lost by moonlight!

Out in Clarence weekend as well you can check out the Great Pumpkin Farm for their Fall Family Festival. This place I have been to already this year and I must say they have definitely grown in the items they have to offer people. From the arts and crafts you can wander through, to the zillions of pumpkins they have, there is a lot of fun to be discovered. Every weekend too is a different event even. This weekend is the world pumpkin weigh off. You’ll get to see more than 1000 pumpkins get weighed in and may be even see one pumpkin set the world record this year. Also this weekend they have a dog sport and comedy show as well as the hayrides, corn maze, and the pumpkin cannon! The Great Pumpkin Farm is on Main Street Clarence and is open Saturday and Sunday from 10am to Dusk.
