Are you kidding me?? I was flipping through the channels on Tuesday night and landed on the Yankees-Twins game. I did a double take when I saw Bartolo Colon on the mound!

I worked as the in-game sound/music director for The Buffalo Bisons in the late 1990's and remember watching Colon pitch. As a matter of fact, I was working the night that he threw a no-hitter. He is the only Bison to ever do that!

There was a weird vibe in the press box and the office that evening. There is a rule (superstition) that when a pitcher has a no-hitter going, you don't mention it until the game is over. The in-game entertainment manager had to be careful when he was directing me on what music to play IF he was able to do it and how the PA announcer was to handle it. I'll never forget it.

What a thrill to see that at 44 years old, Bartolo Colon is still pitching and still throwing heat!! Although he did have a rough evening and the Twins lost, Colon did have a few good innings and a few highlights including this one.
