In 1973, Ringo Starr was a mess.

Years of Alcohol abuse had taken it's toll and the former Beatle found himself with a difficult decision:

Enter Rehab (something that wasn't common or very popular at time), or keep slipping down the rocky road of addiction.

Friends and Family (including Paul McCartney) convinced him to go to a rehabilitation facility and get his Life back on track.

After months in rehab, Ringo emerged sober and ready to get back to work.

What followed was a time of great creativity and growth from him.

Included in the number of songs produced at the time is a gem titled "The No No Song".

Remember, it was now 1975 and singing about your struggles with Drugs was just another topic for the Dinner table.

At least at Ringo's House it was.

Ringo would fall off the wagon a few years later, only to get back into rehab again and again.

Years later, It finally stuck.

Look at this Flashback Video of the week, horrible quality, but you get the feel of what life was like for RIngo at the time.

JACK thinks it's the Smother's Brothers Comedy hour from 1975.

Look for a cameo from a young Super Dave Osborne playing a Cop at the end of the segment.
