Western New York is the location of a major new movie based on the life of Thurgood Marshall, an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States and the first African American to serve as a Justice.

Monday morning, the crews began filming around the Niagara Falls area, specifically the Niagara Falls Public Library on Buffalo Avenue.

As for who's in the movie?

Among actors at the library was the star of the film, Chadwick Boseman, whose credits include Jackie Robinson in the movie '42'. Boseman is playing a young Thurgood Marshall, defending James Spell, a black man accused of raping a white socialite," according to WGRZ.
