Visit the Niagara Falls Winter Festival of Lights running thru January 31. As usual it’s on the Canadian side. They always seem to get the cool stuff.  They have over 3 million lights and a 5 K route you can walk. If you don't speak Canadian it translates to roughly 3 miles and 564 feet in English. That's a lot of lights!

Magical Memories of Main Street is the new holiday display in Downtown Buffalo. It has a soft opening on Saturday and includes vintage and nostalgic displays like the AM& A’s Holiday display that have been resurrected (now only if they could bring Main Street back to life).  They will hold an official opening for Magical Memories on Main Street and hold the tree lighting ceremony at Rotary Rink on Dec. 4.

Light up Lancaster is the official tree lighting ceremony for the Village of Lancaster, but there are a ton of other activities planned for the kids and the families including a Fire Truck Parade, Visits by Santa Claus, Carolers, Arts and Craft and of course the lighting of the village tree. That’s on Nov.27. Which is cool because it will allow you to escape the madness at the Malls. You can always check our Jacktivities calendar for more ideas for holiday fun.
