A celebration of the Buffalo River. Get a crew together to build a boat. Trolling motors welcome but human powered preferred. $1000 cash prize to the best boat and $500 to the runner up. Kayaks and canoes are welcome. You can put in at Harlem and Clinton for the 7 mile paddle or you can put in at the foot of Smith Street for the 3 mile paddle. The built boats will launch from the foot of Smith street.
