Interested in Fencing? Fenced before? This program will introduce the basics of fencing, or help improve skilled fencers. Taught by Orchard Park’s own fencer, Toby Burns.
A great program for both youth and adults, grades 6 and up. Fencing improves balance, strength, and coordination of both the upper and lower extremities. The fencing stance and movements will increase tone and strength of your quads, hamstrings, and buttocks. Arms and shoulder strength will increase as well as you fence your way to fitness and fun! Not only is this program fun, stress relieving, and a great workout it also looks great on college applications!
**For new fencers we now have practice equipment and you will be able to bout on the first night!
*Note- 13-14 year old’s can only participate if a parent is also enrolled in the class.
Equipment is provided.
Open fencing available on Wednesdays!
