Eminem Doesn’t Think ‘Ren & Stimpy’ Gets Enough Love

We all know Eminem can be a little sick in the head sometimes, so it makes total sense that he's a huge fan of The Ren & Stimpy Show. 

Among a couple new annotations he posted to Genius today (May 18), Eminem notes a line from "Phenomenal" about the wonky Nickelodeon show ("The art of MCing mixed with da Vinci and MC Ren / And I don't mean Stimpy's friend, bitch"). In his annotation, he laments how the show doesn't get nearly as much love as it deserves.

"I feel like this show doesn’t get enough love," he wrote. "It was funny as fuck and gross at the same time." True story.

Em's other new annotations are pretty silly. When he said "Kangol's and Carheartless cargos" on "Berzerk," it was apparently influenced by the classic Superbad flick. "One of my favorite lines in Superbad is when Seth says no one has got a hand job in cargo shorts since man, it’s probably true," wrote Marshall.

He also defended his own singing on the "Phenomenal" hook: "I don’t know why people have suggested I name my next album Empower or Empart…This has been said to me so many times over the years. If I were to name an album with such a stupid play on my name it obviously should be called Empanada…"
