Dropkick Murphys Capture the Dysfunctional Spirit of the Season [VIDEO]

Finally a Christmas song that isn't veiled in the disillusionment of the holiday season. While some will say that these Irish rockers have abandoned their Celtic punk roots by releasing a Christmas song on their upcoming CD, 'Signed and Sealed in Blood', we can't help but find it refreshing in its honesty.

There's something about the mentions of whiskey, bratty kids and idiotic in-laws in the new song "The Season's Upon Us" that reminds us of old, drunk Uncle Jack. Nobody's Christmas is perfect like the traditional carols tell ya, so pour a pint and raise a toast. The Dropkick Murphy's got it right -- sounds like Christmas where I'm from.
