Downtown Buffalo Casino Getting Major Expansion

Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino announced with city officials that a $40 million expansion would begin for the downtown Buffalo casino and should wrap up early 2017.

The expansion will allow room for an additional floor with a new Western Door restaurant, 300 new slot machines, more playing tables and a much larger non-smoking section.

The casino is a major money maker as well. New York State gets 25% of all slot machine revenue and that is split between Buffalo and the State: three quarters of that goes to the state and the rest goes to the City of Buffalo.
