After watching Liam Tancock compete in swimming for Great Britan, and wondering if  Hope Solo was named after the original Star Wars movie (like really who does that), I decided to comb the list of competitors in the 2012 Olympiad for some other hilarious gems. News of team USA’s four set win over Brazil yesterday and a matchup against China today sealed the deal. Too good to be true, Destinee Hooker is our star athlete. Yeah, it’s immature, but I guarantee you’ll be giggling too when Kelsey Titmarsh does the apparatus exchange in rhythmic gymnastics.
