Congress Boo’s Working Holiday Week
Members of the house began to grumble and boo when Majority Leader Steny Hoyer announced that they would need to work on December 21st to vote on a bill that would extend federal funding. The problem is that there are two items preventing quick passage of the bill, the “don’t ask-don’t tell” and the START Treaty.
Just another example of how the Federal Government is out of touch with the public. I can think of about 2 million unemployed taxpayers who would love to be able to work during the holiday week.
