College Student Sends Message With Dollar Bills

If you want higher education, be prepared to pay a small fortune. Parents and students are fed up with the rising costs of college tuition. Back in December when word got out that British lawmakers passed a law to triple tuition, riots broke out as protestors flooded the streets. A car carrying Prince Charles and Camilla was even attacked during the mayhem.

But here in the good ole U.S., a University of Colorado student took a less violent approach to send his message. Sophomore Nic Ramos gained national recognition when he paid his tuition, all $14, 309.51 of it, in $1 bills.
