It's just a 30-second clip -- a riff, really -- and you'll have to wait until September to hear the full album, but if you've been eager for a taste of the new Chickenfoot record, the band has what you're looking for.

Simple and to the point, the clip announces "Attention Foot Soldiers: Get Your Boots On" in bold type while a swaggering riff plays in the background. As the music ends, the date "September 27, 2011" flashes over the screen. And then...that's it. This puts Chickenfoot on a collision course with Van Halen, as Diamond Dave is expected to release his first album with Van Halen since "1984" this fall too.

The band decided to call the new album, because as Sammy Hagar said the band made such a major leap in their music that it was like they were working on thier thurd album. Chickenfoot bassist Michael Anthony said fans can expect to hear a "lot heavier" side of the band this time around. "I think we've really evolved as a band," he said in a recent interview, promising that, "There's a lot more meat to these new songs."
