For years we have been trying to use scissors or knives to cut up the plastic rings that hold a six pack of cans together. Whether it's pop or beer, the cans are normally held together with plastic rings that can be a trap and hazard for animals in landfills and the environment.

Saltwater Brewing has developed a way to hold aluminum cans together that will not only be good for the world, but sustenance for wildlife.

According to a report from Metro Source News:

the new rings made of wheat and barley can serve as a snack for marine life, but is also biodegradable.
