Buffalo’s First Pierogi Fest — What You Need to Know
Pierogi, in my humble opinion, should never be saved for special occasions like Dyngus Day. It’s a year-round love affair, and no one knows them better than Buffalo! So it’s only appropriate that we hold the first ever Pierogi Fest!

Ten WNY restaurants and pierogi purveyors will showcase their recipes and their own unique spin on the Polish classic.
- Chrusciki Bakery
- Home Cooked Buffalo
- K Sisters Authentic Pierogi
- Keeping Traditions
- The Mess Hall
- Ms. Judi’s Food Truck
- North Star Tavern
- Potts Deli and Grille

Three honors are up for grabs — Buffalo’s Best, Best Traditional, and Most Creative.
Live music from Kickstart Rumble will be the soundtrack for your taste tour, along with cool stuff from Studio Hue Craft Parties and the Buffalo Museum of Science…Plus, my pals from the Buffalo Animal Shelter‘s PAWS Truck will be on hand with a puppy pen (PUPPIES!!!).
Food trucks with other types of nosh will be around too…and yes, there’s a cash bar too (don’t act like you weren’t wondering….).
