This is either the coolest or strangest or most disturbing museum we haven't been to yet. The Brain Museum, or more properly the University at Buffalo's Museum of Neuroanatomy.

The museum was founded in 1994 and is the ONLY museum in the United States dedicated exclusively to the brain! And it is right here! This sounds like it is worth a visit to us! The museum at UB's South Campus in the Biomedical Education Building has more than 80 brain specimens on display.

The specimens show conditions such as Alzheimer's and cerebral aneurysms as well as the pathway for vision and hearing. In addition to the museum's collection of specimens, there is also a series of photographs, X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans and PET scans.
