Congrats are in order for Blink-182. The band's latest effort, California, has topped the Billboard 200 Album Chart, knocking off Drake's Views album, which had spent nine weeks on top.

California debuted at No. 1 with 186,000 equivalent units earned, and of that sum 172,000 were in traditional album sales. As should be noted, Billboard has started counting album streams in figuring out the top discs of the week.

This marks the second time that Blink-182 have topped the album charts, previously accomplishing the feat with their 2001 album Take Off Your Pants and Jacket. For chart historians, it's interesting to note that Blink-182 has the largest gap between No. 1 albums for a rock act since AC/DC waited 26 years between For Those About to Rock We Salute You and Black Ice topping the charts. Blink-182's biggest selling album is their Enema of the State disc, which has been certified five times platinum despite never reaching any higher than No. 9 on the Billboard Album Chart.

The California album is a transitional one for the group, as longtime band member Tom DeLonge sat this one out while Alkaline Trio's Matt Skiba did an admirable job filling in and the reviews of Skiba's addition both live and on record have been mostly positive. The album features the single "Bored to Death," and the band also issued the songs "Rabbit Hole" and "No Future" ahead of the disc's July 1 release.

Blink-182 are spending the summer headlining a stellar tour package that includes All-American Rejects, A Day to Remember and All Time Low. Dates can be found here.
