Buffalo (4-2) enters into week 7 of the NFL season with a bye, while looking to avenge a 27-24 loss to the Giants this past weekend. The hype surrounding the Bills has yet to completely fade and contract talks for one the top players this season are reportedly underway.

Sources close to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen are reporting that Fitzpatrick is close to making a deal that would keep him in Buffalo after his contract (that he signed three years as a backup) expires at the end of the season. Fitzpatrick, who has 12 TD's and 6 INT's this is year is on pace to pass for 4,000 yards this season is in his 7th season as a quarterback and is looking to the second-tier of pay for quarterbacks.
