Darien Lake is a great place to cool off this summer with one day admission tickets priced at $45.99 for adults and $29.99 for guests under 48”. Darien Lake has a plethora of attractions in their extensive water park including 7 sets of water slides, Swirl City Slide Complex which features four different slides, Mister Twister, Cannon Ball Run which tosses riders into an open-air bowl before dropping them into the pool, Big Kahuna, Tornado, Cuba Falls and Turbo Twins which is a set of two slides that twist around each other the whole way down leaving riders guessing till the end which way the slide will turn next. Darien Lake also offers more relaxing aquatic options including the Floating Station which sends guests floating down the relaxing 16 foot wide Lazy River and the Lazy Days Lagoon is a mellow wave pool where parents can relax on the beachfront deck space while the kids play. Darien Lake also offers guests the option to purchase cabanas so they can soak up the sun all day in peace.


African Lion Safari - Misumu Bay Wet Play

A trip to Ontario’s African Lion Safari is an exciting way to beat the heat this summer.  Guests can go on a safari and then cool down in the park’s Misumu Bay Wet Play area which is divided into areas for younger and older children. Admission to the African Lion Safari is $33.95 for adults for the summer and $29.95 for children from ages 3-12.

Letchworth State Park offers guests breathtaking views of nature and entrance is free for hiking and picnicking.  Guests do have to pay a small fee for camping and adults must pay $2 for pool use and children cost $1 to use the pool.


Martin's Fantasy Island

Martin's Fantasy Island has been a go-to place for people trying to get some relief from the Buffalo summer for years. Fantasy Island offers a wide array of attractions in their water park including several water slides, a lazy river for those who just want to relax and float, and a huge wave pool. Admission is $27.95 for adults, $22.95 for children under 48”.

Fort Niagara State Park offers a ton of water oriented things to do during the summer along with its great views and its key location just next to Fort Niagara historic site. Fort Niagara State Park has a large swimming pool which is $3 for adults and $1.50 for children 13 and under. The park also has two boat launch sites that carry a fee of $8.
