The locker room that was used by Team USA during their run towards Olympic gold in 1980 in Lake Placid has not been touched. Lake Placid is one of the only places that have hosted the Olympics not only once, but twice and featured in 1980 the most memorable ice hockey game of all time

Before the Miracle game, Soviet teams had gone 27–1–1 (wins-losses-ties) and outscored the opposition 175–44. The Soviets were good, experienced and legendary players. The United States were young, mostly college players.
