For as much as we know of Norman Bates' ultimate 'Psycho' destiny, that hasn't stopped A&E's surprisingly compelling 'Bates Motel' from conjuring up a bit of mystery around the character's burgeoning psychosis. We know the first season finale left one character in a pool of blood, but does a new creepy home video teaser reveal the culprit?

Shot from the vantage point of an unseen figure, the new 'Bates Motel' season 2 teaser reveals that someone besides Norman may have been inside Miss Watson's (Keegan Connor Tracy) house on the night of her murder, or at least someone she would have been marginally OK being taped by. Norman's "blackouts" certainly suggest that he might have been involved in the crime, though the home video footage certainly (and sexily) clouds the mystery.

So far, we know of a major trio of new guest stars checking in for ‘Bates Motel’ season 2, including ‘Alias’ star Michael Vartan as a new love interest for Norma, ‘Hung’ star Rebecca Creskoff as Norma’s first real female friend Christine, and ‘Sons of Anarchy‘ vet Kenny Johnson as Norma’s estranged and abusive brother Caleb. Additionally, ‘Boss‘ star Kathleen Robertson has been announced for a mysterious new role, ‘Percy Jackson‘ star Paloma Kwiatkowski will portray a new love interest for Norman, and ‘Transformers‘ and ‘Grey’s Anatomy‘ star Michael O’Neill will play Miss Watson’s vengeful father, who can briefly be seen in a photo on Miss Watson's nightstand.

Well, what do you think? Did Norman do the dirty deed or block out something far darker? Watch the latest creepy 'Bates Motel' season 2 promo above, and give us your theories in the comments before the March 3 premiere!
