‘Avengers’ Cast Assembles In Action-Packed Photos

The comic book blockbuster ‘The Avengers’ doesn’t drop until May of 2012, but Entertainment Weekly just whet the appetite of fans of the superhero team with a gallery of photos featuring Chris Evans as Captain America, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye.

Also included are a few shots of the star-studded cast interacting in costume on set. But perhaps the most notable of the photos is the Ruffalo headshot, in which his character Bruce Banner (the secret identity of The Hulk) shoots the camera a look of pure, unadulterated “Blue Steel” so intense it would make Zoolander himself blush. “Don’t make me be sexy. You wouldn’t like me when I’m sexy.”

The Release of the movie "Avengers" will surely bring back the days of flipping through the comic books and bring those still images to life on the big screen as well as bring the inner kid out of those waiting to see the action figures in real life.
