Fact: Tennessee in June is hot.
Every morning since I arrived at Bonnaroo, I've found myself strategically plotting my outfits so that I achieve maximum protection from the sun while allowing the least amount of fabric possible to touch my body...
I was going to use this "diary entry" to talk about some of the bands I've seen so far, but in the middle of one of this afternoon's sets -- The Avett Brothers, the first act I saw on 'Roo's main stage -- I started to realize that two days into this four-day adventure is too soon to do so...
Late on Wednesday night, June 6, my friends and I set out from Nashville to Manchester, Tenn. Very, very late (or very early, depending on how you look at it) the next morning, we arrived at what will be our home until Sunday evening -- a small spot of grass somewhere on the giant plot of farmland that, ever year, turns into the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival.
