Let me start off by saying I have nothing against the city of Toronto. Nothing. It’s actually a great city with so much to offer. But I really can’t stand that the Bills have to play games up there.

I guess what irritates me the most isn’t the fact that we basically lose home field advantage. Or that we don’t get to trap teams in Buffalo’s weather elements. It’s not even the fact that when we played the Jets up there last year, Rogers Stadium chose Jay-Z’s “Empire State of Mind” to play during warm-ups. It’s the fact that Toronto doesn’t seem to want the Bills.

It’s obvious by the number of “fans” in the stands, many of whom are rooting for the opposition. It’s also obvious when you walk through the parking lots at Ralph Wilson Stadium on game day. There are a ton of Canadians there. And I talked to a lot of them. I didn’t hear one that said they liked the fact that the Bills play in Toronto.

It’s time to stop invading our neighbors to the north. Let them have their hockey, baseball and basketball teams. We’ll keep our football team. Thanksomuch. Go Bills.
