That's right, producers of American Idol are offering the pop princess huge money to save the one time king of the singing competitions.

One problem, Katy Perry is too big right now and her handlers would rather she start her own production company and do a singing show that they own.

if The Voice can be a hit, imagine what "Katy's Idol" could do.
