It was one year ago today that Terry Pegula was announced as the new owner of the Buffalo Sabres. I can remember how I felt when Terry uttered the words "starting today the sole purpose of the Buffalo Sabres is to win the Stanley Cup". I couldn't believe what I was hearing. The Buffalo Sabres had finally found an owner who was more interested in winning than making a profit.

A year later and the Buffalo Sabres are sitting at the bottom of their conference. Where was all the winning? Where is the owner that Buffalo fell in love with?

With the exception of a few players this is still Tom Galisono's hockey Team. Until Mr. Pegula makes the changes that are necessary for the success of this team his leadership is in question.
