It's probably not a surprise that we love to get out in Buffalo and Western New York and experience the best our region has to offer. We always kick off our summers the best way possible -- TASTE OF COUNTRY! And after that we have Darien Lake concerts, Canalside, Insane Inflatable 5k, Lemonade Day, Ribfest, and the list goes on and the fun doesn't stop, but we still like to fill those far and in between down times with a little something different.

So we headed over to TripAdvisor to find out what Buffalo's best concert and show venues are....

    Shea's Performing Arts Center

    4.5/5 Stars on TripAdvisor

646 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14202

Most recent visit was to attend the opera "Shot" which was well done but a bit uneven. The theater is plush now and comfortable but as before the sound system needs to be improved. We'll be back though since they get the best shows," Steven wrote on TripAdvisor.

    Kleinhans Music Hall

    4.5/5 Stars

3 Symphony Circle, Buffalo, NY 14201

My husband and I go here often to hear the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. The hall itself is beautiful and the acoustics are outstanding. If you only go here, it's worth a trip to Buffalo," Nell55 shared on TripAdvisor.

    Shakespeare in Delaware Park

    5 Stars

Lincoln Parkway by the Marcy Casino and Rose Garden, Buffalo, NY 14222

Even if you've done Shakespeare in Delaware Park before, there are many NEW exciting things this season – its 41st ! And if you've never experienced this wonderful free professional jewel we in Buffalo are so lucky to have, then this is the perfect year to visit. There's a totally new stage that can be configured multiple ways and takes only 1 week to set up rather than the previous 4 weeks. The huge sound & light towers that previously towered over the audience & ate up valuable spectator real estate have been relocated to the sides of the stage. Now, the hill has a wide expanse of unobstructed sight lines! There's an enhanced sound system which the play makes great use of," BuffaloMathProfessional wrote on TripAdvisor.

    Helium Comedy Club

    4 Stars

    30 Mississippi St, Buffalo, NY

My favorite comedy club in Buffalo! TAlways have fresh acts and new faces coming in! There is a two item minimum but whats two drinks a person?! Its a great time and you will be sure to laugh! They also have a full bar and a restaurant called Elements which serves up some good food! A great date night! Edge Comedy Nights are my favorite! Had the chance to meet a few Sabre players there as well as a few actors/comedians such as Guy Torry and the Sklar Brothers! Def worth checking out," Sam K wrote on TripAdvisor.

    Irish Classical Theatre Company

    4.5/5 Stars

625 Main Street, 625 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14203

Suffice it to say I am actively involved in the local theatre scene in Buffalo, so this review is fromthe perspective of an insider. As an actor, I have had the pleasure of working at IRT as well as on many of the other terrific stages the Queen City has to offer. For my money, the Irish Classical theatre is the perfect venue for people that enjoy intelligent productions that they can relate to at an afoordable price. The bonus here is the physical space. This "theatre in the round" (it is actually square) provides the viewer with an experience that allow them to truly feel like they are part of the action. There is not a bad seat in the house," BrendanCunningham wrote.

The Colored Musicians Club of Buffalo

    4.5/5 Stars

145 Broadway Street, Buffalo, NY 14203

This building is full of stories from legendary musicians and entertainers. The Colored Musicians club is a gem bursting with history. You name the artist, chance are they played here. Rumor even has it that Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin stopped in looking for Sammy Davis Jr. Duke, Ella, Dizzy, Count Basie, you name it, they were here. The club continues to host live music events throughout the year. Definitely worth a stop while visiting the City of Buffalo," Christopher G. says.

    Tralf Music Hall

    4/5 Stars

622 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14226

Great intimate place to attend. Each event attended here, the group interacts with the crowd easily. All seats give good view of stage. Beer is cold and the employees always very cordial," Brian M. says.
