This weekend (Friday, September 7-Sunday, September 9) was rather peachy for those in the Lewiston area!

The 55th annual Niagara County Peach Festival, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Lewiston, featured a plethora of peach-themed events, from a peach dessert bake-off to a peach fuzz contest, and everything in between: a parade, a fun run, a cheerleading competition, a Peach Queen contest and a live performance by famous Elvis impersonator Terry Buchwald. The three-day event also included carnival rides and lots of typical carnival favorites, such as burgers and hot dogs.
